I'm honored to be in the Blues Hall of Fame..............
I was inducted today into the Blues Hall of Fame as Ambassador to New Zealand...............
Two years ago, watching footage of some manmade disaster, I was inspired to
write this song but never released it. It now seems more relevant than ever
so I produced a video to go with it. The reaction to the song/video has been
amazing - I think it touches a thought in there with most people........
"what are we doing to this beautiful planet?"
I always loved the old recording of this song and used to sing it for my Dad a long time ago so it was
always my intention to record it myself - with my own bridge added and my own arrangement -
so here it is.
This song is always requested at gigs and just recently I put it on iTunes in response to
so many people asking to download it.
This was my latest release - may 2010 - and was debuted and featured on the Rhythm and Blues Network for the month.
This is a song about those feelings that just won't go away for someone you know is bad for you!

A few weeks ago, I was asked if I had a Christmas song; I didn't but inspiration took hold when I thought about what this season of giving should really be about - for me at least. And so Give Love For Christmas was written over the following weekend and has since been aired on many radio stations already - and received great reviews from radio hosts and music journalists - so now is the time to let it out into the world.............. Not blues it's true, but a song that I released a while back
and which has proved so popular with all those lovely people
who listen to my music. It says what I believe about life.
And it needed a video - so here it is!

This is a very special song to me - not blues at all - but one that I always wanted to
arrange and change and record in my own way.
I released the song last St. Patrick's Day - which for the unitiated was March 17 -
and it has done so so well in other corners of the world whereever there is
a love of Celtic music.
And so I have been asked so many times to make a simple video to go with the
track on various radio sites/websites and this is the result.

Being Featured Blues Artist for 2 months here is great and I'm making sure that I tell everyone about it and encourage musicians and fans to come join the site.
This added exposure has I'm sure helped me in the last 3 weeks get more and more airplay around the world
and more and more Feautures on radio and websites. It's all good!!
Last week I had my first worldwide broadcast on World fm which was quite an achievement for me and big thanks to Nick Barnes at World fm who also plays my music on his shows at Summit Radio Uk. I also got a 2 week feature on Cosmic Clouds Radio out of Australia and The Blues Corner Cuba who permanently feature me profiled me on their website.
Another great bluesman is Terry at The RoadRashBlues Show airing on KCOR and for the second week running he tells me that my music is airing this weekend. Thanks! And always, always thanks to my friend Brendan at All Irish Radio who has always supported me and plays lots of my music including the non-blues tracks.
This weekend I'm featured again on The Musicians Social Club hosted by Leasa on Blog Talk Radio and she will be playing my music and also interviewing me life on the show.
