"Converting to Good" giver en afdæmpet, minimalistisk og original akkustisk oplevelse, med sjæl og intensitet. Med vokaler, percussion, klassisk spansk guitar og bas, skaber "Converting to Good", et originalt musikalsk maleri.
Stærke verdens musikalske inspirationskilder, med et strejf af "Bossa Nova", forankret i en nordisk sangskriver tradition, og tekster på engelsk såvel som dansk, gør "Converting to Good" til en intens og original oplevelse.
Den afdæmpede og intense stil, gør musikken velegnet til en bred vifte af arrangementer. "Converting to Good" har optrådt live siden Maj 2008, bla. i Turbinehallen, Thylejren og til Strib Vinterfestival.
ENGLISH:
"Converting to Good" is really mellow acoustic music, minimalistic and pure, but still intense and expressive. The band formed in November 2007, when Thomas Stagård brought Thomas Kortholm for a jam session with his friends, Tomas Nowack and Morten Andersen.
These jam sessions was quickly turned into an weekly occurrence, and it was obvious from the start, that the chemistry in the band was good, and the subsequent months was spent refining the music.
In may 2008 "Converting to Good" decided to try out their music on live audiences, and have done so on a number of occasions since, with great success, and very positive response from varying audiences.
"Converting to Good" played their first big venue on February 7th. 2009, and it was a great success. On February 13th., the band played their first festival "Strib Vinter Festival".
After this gig, Thomas Stagård and the band decided, that he should no longer be a part af the bands live setup, due to severe health issues, that needs urgent attention. Stagård will still be co-writing music with "Converting to Good".
"Converting to Good" is also working hard on their first professionally recorded songs, and they will be released during the summer and autum 2009.
